Hello Seattle

Portland may have been a bust but Seattle definitely was not! Surprisingly it didn’t rain at all (I’m now 95% sure they tell us it’s rainy to keep us out) and the city was so walkable and fun!

We watched the fish market fish toss here at Pike Place. If only we had more room in our suitcases to go shopping…
This is the world’s first Starbucks! The line was way too long so we enjoyed coffee elsewhere, but still cool to see.
Leanne found zongzi in Pike Place market, which we both enjoyed thoroughly. Here’s a description from Google: Zongzi, rouzong or simply zong is a traditional Chinese rice dish made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves, or sometimes with reed or other large flat leaves. They are cooked by steaming or boiling.
The Space Needle debuted in 1962 and still rockin’ in 2023.

Miles got very tired, which is great because tomorrow we hop onto a 12 hour flight to Japan, during which we want him asleep. Next post will be from Japan!
